Experience in General Practice is not required but a willingness to learn, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.

About the Position n

Our ideal candidate will have experience with Chronic Disease Management and robust interpersonal skills. They will need to be highly motivated with a sound background in patient care, and be able to adapt to an ever-changing environment and industry.

Nursing tasks are varied and examples include: n

- Chronic Disease Management
n




- Triage and management of acutely unwell patients
n
- Immunisations of children and adults
n
- Wound care
n
- Health assessments including workplace medicals
n
- Assisting with minor procedures
n
- Results notification and patient education
n
- Cold chain management
n

Requirements nn
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse is essential
n
- Availability to work full days (8:30am-4:30pm) with Monday and Friday availability preferrable
n
- Previous experience working in general practice and/or emergency preferable but not essential
n
- The ability to work both independently when required and cohesively within a team environmentDedication to the provision of the highest standard of nursing care
n
- Proficient computer skills (experience with Best Practice not essential but highly regarded)
n
- Strong communication and time management skills
