Full Time Duty Manager & Assistant Venue Manager Positions - F/T n

The Duke of Dural in our upmarket boutique pub group is on the hunt for an Assistant Venue Manager or experienced Duty Manager.

Who We're Looking For - n

These roles suit hospitality professionals who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and know how to lead by example. You'll be hands-on, solutions-focused, and ready to take the reins in managing an entire venue.

Role Requirements - n

n
- Previous experience in pubs in Sydney (equivalent to the role you are applying for)
n
- Solid background in food, beverage, gaming, tab, keno and functions
n
- Strong understanding of NSW liquor and gaming compliance
n
- Demonstrated financial and operational acumen (including wage control, stock, invoices (Lightyear) and supplier management)
n
- Proven ability to train, roster (Deputy preferred), lead and mentor a team
n
- Hands-on experience with POS (Bepoz preferred),



reporting, and daily cash handling
n
- A commitment to compliance, maintenance and policy adherence
n
- Experience in gaming systems e.g. Global, S7000
n
- Ability to build community rapport and deliver outstanding customer service
n
- Full availability to work across rotating rosters including weekends and evenings
n
- Full working rights in Australia
n
- Mature, proactive, and accountable
n
- Calm under pressure, quick on your feet
n
- Strong communicator and team player
n
- Pride in presentation and professionalism with high attention to detail
n
- Passionate about great service, quality products, and genuine hospitality
n
- Tech-savvy with a can-do attitude
n
- Solid product knowledge - especially around craft beer, wine, and spirits
n
