Job Title: Senior IT Analyst

About the Role: Extractas Bioscience has partnered with Axia Recruitment to seek a highly skilled Senior IT Analyst to join their IT team. This role is crucial in providing expertise in complex information systems analysis, design, and solution delivery. As a Senior IT Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the organisations IT applications and systems while offering guidance and direction to other professional staff. You will also play a key role in ensuring high IT system compliance and managing strategic planning for system development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide primary support for all IT applications and systems, ensuring smooth operations across the business.
n
- Serve as a technical expert, offering guidance and resolving complex technical issues within the IT team.
n
- Participate in the development of strategic plans for system enhancements, focusing on consolidating legacy applications and introducing new technologies to reduce costs.
n
- Offer day-to-day site support for all IT activities, contributing to business continuity and system optimisation.
n
- Lead, guide, and support other IT staff in day-to-day and project activities.
n
- Maintain compliance with IT systems and regulatory guidelines, ensuring consistent adherence to procedures.
n
- Manage and supervise contractors and vendors as required for project implementation and system enhancements.
n
- Provide out-of-hours technology support as needed to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
n

Skills and Experience:

n

n
- A degree in Computing or equivalent qualification is essential.
n




- Experience in IT support provisioning within a medium-sized business environment.
n
- Strong knowledge of business applications, including finance, manufacturing, and laboratory software.
n
- Familiarity with IT systems in compliance with GMP (Positive Manufacturing Practices) and Computer Systems Validation is desirable.
n
- Excellent strategic thinking and leadership skills, with proven experience in managing technical teams.
n
- Experience in managing external vendor relationships and ensuring smooth project execution.
n
- Proficiency with Windows-based systems and a broad range of IT systems.
n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
