Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Surveyor to join our growing team, working across a range of projects throughout the Gold Coast and Brisbane .

This is a hands-on surveying role suited to someone who is confident working independently in the field, while also collaborating with project teams to deliver accurate, reliable and high-quality surveying outcomes.

n

You will work across a diverse range of projects and be responsible for completing field surveying activities, processing survey data and producing accurate information to support project delivery.

n

Gold Coast-based candidates are preferred , with Brisbane-based applicants also encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities n

n
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrated competency using Trimble surveying equipment and 12d Model software is essential.
n
- Completing set-out, as-constructed and detail surveys as required.
n
- Establishing and maintaining survey control.
n
- Preparing accurate survey information, plans, reports and associated documentation.
n
- Interpreting engineering plans, construction drawings and survey documentation.
n
- Liaising with project managers, engineers, site personnel, clients and other stakeholders.
n
- Ensuring surveying work is completed accurately, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements.
n
- Maintaining survey equipment and ensuring appropriate field records and documentation are completed.

About you nn
- Demonstrated competency using Trimble surveying equipment
n
- Demonstrated competency using 12d Model software
n
- Ability to work away from home occasionally if required (Monday to Wednesday only)
n
- Willingness to undertake infrequent night shift work
n




- Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Surveyors Board of Queensland (SBQ) is highly advantageous
n
- Relevant qualifications in surveying, spatial science or a related discipline will also be viewed favourably
n
- The ability to interpret plans, drawings and technical information
n
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
n
- Good organisational and time-management skills
n
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a project team
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
- A professional and safety-conscious approach to field work
