Wellers Hill School Age Child Care Service (SACCS) is looking for energetic, enthusiastic and caring Educators to join our team.

n

As one of Queensland’s largest Outside School Hours Care services, we have dedicated Junior, Middle and Senior programs where our Educators create fantastic experiences for children from Prep to Year 6.

n

Whether you’re kicking a footy, getting messy with an art project, running a cooking experience or creating the next big STEM challenge — no two days at SACCS are quite the same!

Who We’re Looking For You don’t need years of OSHC experience to be a great Educator! n

You might be studying Education, Teaching, Sport & Recreation, Nursing, Allied Health, Community Services or Education and Care.

n

You might already work with children through OSHC, Early Childhood, coaching, sport or community programs.

n

Or you might simply be someone who is reliable, enthusiastic, excellent with kids and ready to get involved.

n

We’re looking for people who enjoy working with children, bring a positive attitude and want to contribute to a supportive and engaging environment.

When Would I Work? n

We have casual opportunities across:

We’re particularly interested in Educators who can commit to regular Before School Care and/or After School Care shifts, with additional opportunities available during school holidays.

What You’ll Need n

n
- Be 18 years of age or older
n
- Hold, or be eligible to complete, the required GEECKO child safety training
n
- Hold, or be willing and eligible to obtain, a current Queensland Paid Blue Card
n
- Meet applicable employment and screening requirements
n
- Relevant qualifications or current study are highly regarded.
n

What You’ll Do n

As an Educator, you’ll help create a safe, welcoming and engaging environment where children can play, explore, build friendships and thrive.

n

- Facilitate fun, engaging and play-based activities and experiences
n
- Actively supervise children and support their safety, wellbeing and inclusion
n
- Build positive relationships with children, families and your team
n
- Encourage children’s confidence, independence, creativity and participation
n
- Work collaboratively within our Junior, Middle and Senior programs
n
- Get involved in Vacation Care activities, incursions and excursions
n
- Most importantly, you’ll help make SACCS somewhere children genuinely look forward to attending.

$35.10 – $48.22 per hour, depending on classification and applicable entitlements.

n

Remuneration is provided in accordance with the applicable P&C; Queensland Award, including the Worker Retention Payment where eligible.

n
