We are seeking a Senior Building Designer to join our team. This role has a strong focus on producing high-quality conceptual designs and producing building design documentation to achieve both planning and building permits.

About the role n

As a Senior Building Designer, you will develop practical, compliant and well-considered building design solutions that meet client briefs, authority requirements and support coordinated land development project outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include: n

- Prepare building design concepts, plans, drawings and documentation that respond to client briefs, site conditions and project objectives.

- Creating Architectural documentation to obtain building and planning permits.
n
- Creating high-quality conceptual designs in REVIT with determination of client objectives and consideration of options and constraints.
n




- Ensuring all drawings meet our client and/or Council specifications, prescribed timelines and quality checks.
n
- Ensuring all plans comply with building requirements and standards.
n
- Client presentations, design reviews, authority discussions and project meetings with clear design advice and documentation.
n

About you n

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate their ability to work confidently and constructively with key internal/external stakeholders to ensure the effective and successful delivery of projects.

To be successful you will have: n

n
- Cert IV or Advanced Diploma of Building Design (Architecture) or equivalent, relevant Tertiary qualifications.
n
- A strong working knowledge of the Construction process and Rescode requirements
n
- Minimum 10 – 15 Years Industry Experience, including 10 years’ experience with Revit
n
- 5D or Render experience
n
- Have a strong client focus and fosters a culture of excellence in service delivery.
n
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build solid relationships with our teams and our clients.
n
- Fantastic collaboration skills when working in your team and across a number of teams
n
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
n
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
n
- Detail minded with a strong attention to detail.
