Game7Projects is an established building and construction business. We deliver residential and commercial projects, including new homes, extensions, renovations and fit-outs. As our workload grows, we’re looking for a qualified Wall and Floor Tiler to join our team on a full-time basis

The Role n

You’ll install wall and floor tiles to a high standard across a range of projects. You’ll work from plans and specifications, prepare surfaces, and deliver clean, durable finishes that meet Australian Standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities n

n
- Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications to work out material quantities and the shape, size and layout of tiles
n
- Prepare surfaces by removing old tiles, cleaning, filling holes and levelling uneven areas
n
- Apply waterproofing membranes to wet areas such as bathrooms, laundries and balconies
n
- Mix mortar, cement, screeds and adhesives to the correct consistency
n
- Measure, mark and cut tiles to size and shape using hand and power cutting tools, wet saws and grinders
n
- Spread adhesive and mortar, then lay and set tiles on walls, floors,



stairs and other surfaces
n
- Align and level tiles using string lines, spirit levels and laser levels
n
- Lay decorative tiles, mosaics and feature patterns as specified
n
- Install expansion and movement joints, then grout and seal joints between tiles
n
- Clean finished surfaces and remove excess grout and adhesive
n
- Repair and replace damaged or loose tiles
n
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and keep the work site clean and tidy
n

Skills and Experience nn
- Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling (CPC31320) or an equivalent qualification
n
- At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler
n
- Sound knowledge of tiling techniques, waterproofing practices and relevant Australian Standards
n
- Ability to read plans and calculate material quantities accurately
n
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality finishes
n
- Valuable communication skills, and able to work on your own or as part of a team
n
- Current White Card (General Construction Induction)
