The business operates extensive fresh departments and are seeking a Bakery Supervisor to join their Bakery team on a full-time or part time basis. This is an entry level supervisory role offering the chance to develop your team and build a pathway toward higher management opportunities.
About the role n
As the Bakery Supervisor, you'll bring a genuine passion for food, baking and quality products and service. Previous bakery experience is highly regarded, however a strong interest in the industry and a willingness to learn is also important. You'll be confident managing stock orders and using basic computer systems while leading a team that works together to deliver outstanding results. A current manual driver's licence is essential, along with a commitment to ensuring every customer enjoys an exceptional shopping experience from the moment they walk through the door.
Skills and Experience n

- Proven experience working in a supermarket or bakery environment, with hands on knowledge of food preparation and baking

- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and standards such as shrinkage and wastage
n
- Solid computer skills and the ability to manage stock control and ordering systems
n
- Valid manual driver's licence required

- Knowledge of retail industry best practices and customer service standards
