The Role

n

We are seeking an experienced FEL Operator to support underground mining operations on King Island.

n

You will operate a Volvo L120 front end loader to assist with materials handling, load and haul activities, and general underground support tasks, helping ensure safe and efficient site operations in a remote mining environment.

- FIFO from Major Cities

- Accommodation and meals provided

Responsibilities

n

n
- Operate Volvo L120 FEL in underground and surface support roles
n
- Load, move, and distribute materials, aggregates, and equipment
n
- Support shotcrete, development, and production crews as required
n
- Carry out daily machine inspections and basic maintenance checks
n
- Ensure safe operating practices in line with site procedures
n
- Maintain clean and organised work areas and equipment
n

Qualifications / Requirements

n

n




- Experience operating FELs in mining or heavy industrial environments
n
- Experience on Volvo L120 or similar loader highly regarded
n
- Valid tickets/licences as required for mobile plant operations
n
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
n
- Pass pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening
n
- Police clearance within 6 months
n
