Are you an experienced Asphalt labourer? There are a couple of opportunities for ongoing work across a mix of projects. You will be working within the Brisbane City Council, Asphalt and Aggregates branch.

n

As part of the team, you will be working on projects on various sites around Brisbane. About your new role: The variety of this role will expand across but not limited to the following labouring tasks

n

n
- Use screen board/shovel an rakes to spread asphalt
n
- Perform routine manhole and sheet patching repairs
n
- Help with clearing tree and bushes away from roads
n
- Gravel and asphalt pavements
n
- Ability to maintain a secure work environment
n
- Guide trucks and traffic while moving and tipping
n
- Have a current truck license to be able to drive truck to different locations during each shift
n

What you will need to exceed:



We are looking for asphalt labourers with experience or in a similar field services role. A strong sense of teamwork, a commitment to safety and ensuring all work is conducted according to safety procedures and guidelines. Current C Class license & own vehicle required

- Work safety in the Construction Industry (White Card)
n
- MR/HR license required
n
- Asphalt labouring experience required
n
- Road and traffic awareness
n
