Transcend are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our high profiled client. This role involves operating a Gas Forklift as well as performing manual handling duties.
n
The successful candidate will be comfortable working both on and off the forklift in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities n
n
- Operate a Gas Forklift safely and efficiently.
n
- Load and unload trucks with steel products (4-6 metre lengths).
n
- Bundle and stage materials for dispatch or storage.
n
- Move, stack, and organise stock within the warehouse or yard.
n
- Assist with general warehouse duties when not operating the forklift.
n
- Ensure all loads are secured and handled in accordance with safety. standards.
n
- Conduct routine equipment checks and report any issues.
n
Criteria n
n
- Full Australian Work Rights.
n
- Valid High Risk Forklift License (LF).
n
- Experience operating a Gas Forklift (Essential).
n
- Ability to handle long-length steel products safely (Highly Regarded).
n
- Willingness to perform manual labour and work off the forklift as required.
n
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
n
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
