We are seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Bulk Earthworks Supervisors to join a project in the Cairns region on a 2 week on, 1 week off roster. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a significant infrastructure project while leading high‑performing crews in a dynamic and safety‑focused environment.

As a Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing daily earthworks operations, ensuring project objectives are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Supervise and coordinate bulk earthworks activities across the project site
n
- Lead and mentor operators, labourers, subcontractors, and site crews
n
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with project schedules and specifications
n
- Monitor productivity and resource utilisation to maximise operational performance
n
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all site activities
n




- Conduct pre‑start meetings, toolbox talks, and site inspections
n
- Manage compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements
n
- Liaise with project engineers, construction managers, and subcontractors
n

About You n

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

n

n
- Proven experience supervising bulk earthworks, civil construction, mining, or infrastructure projects
n
- Strong leadership and team management skills
n
- Sound understanding of earthmoving equipment, site operations, and construction methodologies
n
- Ability to interpret project plans, specifications, and construction drawings
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment
n
- Current driver's licence
n
- Relevant industry certificates and qualifications
n

Highly Regarded n

n
- Previous experience on large‑scale civil, mining, transport, or infrastructure projects
n
- Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision or relevant experience
n
- Supervisor Qualification - G1, 8, 9
n
- RIIs and associated civil construction competencies
n
