Our College is located on three metropolitan campuses in Epping and Reservoir and a rural campus, Ostia, in Strath Creek for spiritual retreat. Epping campuses are walking distance from each other and the Epping train station.

A vacancy exists for a VET Building & Construction (Carpentry) Teacher. This is a permanent part time role, three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) commencing Wednesday, 27 January 2027.

Candidates must have the ability to plan, work and learn in a team environment. They must also have excellent classroom management skills and have a commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education and contemporary pedagogues.
Skills/Experience n
n
- Bachelor/Masters of Education
n
- TAE Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
n
- Certificate III in Building & Construction and have the skills and qualifications to deliver the VET Certificate II in Building & Construction (Carpentry)
n
- A strong commitment to Catholic Education
n
- An ability to develop and maintain professional and caring relationships with students,
parents and colleagues
n
- An ability to create an engaging, educational and challenging learning environment that caters for the needs of all students
n
- An eagerness to learn
n
- An enthusiasm to implement a differentiated curriculum and use modern technology to support student learning.

Salary for this position is based on experience in accordance with the Teacher scale of the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 (CEMEA) as varied from time to time.
