About the Opportunity n
nKingston Human Capital are currently supporting a Queensland State Government department who are seeking an experienced Human Resource Officer for their Gold Coast based office.n
n n
Your current role n
nIn this role, you will coordinate support to program and project managers, and regional staff by contributing to the delivery of Human Resource services across the region.n
n n
This role will see you n
n

n
- Support team leaders and managers across a wide range of HR matters
n
- Research and analyse routine HR matters and makes recommendations consistent with policy and legislation
n
- Coordinate inductions and exits for the region
n
- Liaise with employees and leaders on establishment and payroll activities
n
- Apply HR policies, procedures and processes to routine operations and situations
n
- Compile and complete standard HR forms and documentation
n
- Use Human Resource Information Systems, including data entry, data interrogation and routine reporting
n
- Participate in Culture and recognition events for the region
n
- Participate in business improvement activities
n
- Build and maintain strong, working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve effective business outcomes
n
- Collate, monitor and report on the performance and status of program/project and administrative support activities.
n

About You n
nTo be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:n
n

n
- Good working knowledge of HR policies, procedures,



employment legislation and industrial frameworks.
n
- Strong administrative skills, including preparing HR documentation, correspondence, forms and reports.
n
- Experience coordinating employee onboarding, inductions, transfers and offboarding/exit processes.
n
- Ability to research and analyse HR matters and provide appropriate recommendations in line with policy and legislation.
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build effective relationships across different levels of an organisation.
n

Previous Queensland Government or public sector HR experience would be highly regarded, but not essential. n

Benefits n

- Nerang based office, Gold Coast
n
- Contract up to October 2027, with potential extension
n
- $60.05 - $65.81 per Hour + 12% Superannuation
n
- 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday
n
- Weekly pay cycles, with no payroll fees from Kingston
n
