We are seeking a friendly, skilled and reliable Receptionist to join our team at Good Shepherd Lodge Ltd – Kerrisdale Gardens in Beaconsfield, Mackay on a fixed-term, part-time basis to provide parental leave cover until 1 May 2027.

As our receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, staff and external providers. You will play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming and professional environment for everyone who enters our facility.

The position is 2 days per week – Thursday and Friday, 8:30am to 2:30pm, with the potential to provide additional cover when required.

Responsibilities:
n
n
- Welcoming residents, families, visitors and contractors
n
- Answering and directing telephone calls and enquiries
n
- Managing reception and general administrative duties
n
- Responding to emails and correspondence
n
- Assisting with appointments, enquiries and visitor sign-in
n
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
n
- Providing general administrative support to the facility and management team
n
- Maintaining a professional, friendly and welcoming reception workplace
n
- Assisting with additional administrative tasks as required
n
n

Previous reception, administration or aged care experience will be highly regarded. We welcome applications from people with transferable skills who have a genuine interest in working within an aged care environment.
