Lucas Tree Services has managed urban forest across Victoria since 2012. You will manage multiple teams, working mostly for government and commercial clients: councils, road, rail and water authorities, schools, aged care and commercial partners. Our work centres on retaining healthy vegetation, with removal where it is needed.

About the role
n
As State Manager you will run Southeast, East, Centre, West, Commercial and Consulting as one operation: one way of working, one pool of crews and plant, one set of numbers.

What you will do
n
Set one operating standard across every area.
n
Statewide resourcing of crews, plant and subcontractors.
n
Build the pipeline of tenders, renewals and recent clients, and lead operational input to tenders
n
Lead, coach and appraise managers and a consulting arborist.
n
Keep safety and our ISO management system working the same way in every area
n
What you will bring
n
Certificate III in Arboriculture (minimum); Diploma of Arboriculture or equivalent management experience
n
5+ years managing multi-crew arboricultural or civil field operations, including managing managers
n
A record of managing a P&L; or contract budgets.
n
Experience delivering and tendering for local government or utility contracts
n
Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 and Victorian WHS obligations
n
Current First Aid, White Card, Working with Children Check, National Police Check and a full driver licence
n
