HIR Talent is partnering with an established commercial construction contractor to appoint a Senior Estimator to their Sydney team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced estimator to join a collaborative and supportive team and take ownership of complex tenders and cost planning across a diverse project portfolio.
The Opportunity n
n
- Lead detailed tenders and cost plans for projects up to $50M+
n
- Develop tender strategies with a strong commercial focus
n
- Price complex, staged and live-environment projects
n
- Build and maintain strong subcontractor relationships
n
- Identify project risks and ensure accurate, competitive pricing
n
- Prepare ECI and feasibility-stage cost plans
n
- Mentor and support junior estimating team members
n
About You nn
- 10+ years' estimating experience
n
- Proven experience with complex tenders up to $50M
n
- Experience with cost planning for $50M+ projects
n
- Background across commercial; hospitality, health, education, retail or similar sectors
n
- Strong commercial judgement and understanding of construction costs
n
- Proficient in Cubit / Cubit Select or similar estimating software
n
- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or similar
