We’re looking for an experienced System Test Analyst to join a large-scale digital transformation program. This is a contract opportunity through to 12 February 2027 , based on-site in Darwin, NT . You’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability and readiness of digital platforms through a combination of automated and manual testing.

Requirements n
What You’ll Do n

n
- Design, develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts and frameworks.
n
- Develop and execute manual test cases across functional, integration, system, regression and release testing.
n
- Determine when automation, manual testing or a combination of both is most appropriate.
n
- Perform API, end-to-end, exploratory, defect retesting and production verification testing.
n
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
n
- Analyse requirements to define test coverage and identify automation opportunities.
n
- Manage test data, evidence, traceability and defect reporting.
n
- Identify, track and support the resolution of defects, including triage and retesting.
n
- Produce test artefacts, reports and quality metrics.
n
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, solution architects and stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes.
n

What You’ll Bring n

n
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
n




- ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent certification.
n
- Strong experience as an Automation and Test Analyst within large and complex ICT programs.
n
- Hands-on experience across both automated and manual testing.
n
- Experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
n
- Robust experience with functional, integration, system, regression and release testing.
n
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured or SoapUI, as well as SQL for data validation.
n
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins or similar.
n
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC and software testing methodologies.
n
- Experience with test and defect management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps Test Plans .
n
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
