The Opportunity

n

As the Underground Production Coordinator (Foreperson), you’ll be responsible for coordinating daily underground production at Granny Smith gold mine, ensuring alignment with the mine plan whilst maintaining stringent safety standards.

n

You’ll lead and mentor a team of Underground Production Supervisors, providing direction, support, and fostering a culture of safety and accountability to ensure achievement of production targets.

n

Reporting to the Unit Manager Underground Mining, this is a pivotal leadership role where your ability to influence, plan, and problem-solve is critical to success.

What you’ll be doing:

n

n
- Leading and mentoring Underground Production Supervisors and crews
n
- Coordinating underground production planning and driving performance in-line with the mine plan
n
- Ensuring strict compliance with safety standards, procedures, and statutory requirements
n
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
n
- Fostering a strong safety culture of care, respect and accountability
n
- Building strong relationships and collaborating with technical services, maintenance, contractors and business partners to optimise operations
n

What you’ll bring:

n

n
- Proven leadership experience in underground gold mining (at Coordinator/Foreperson or Supervisor level)
n
- Strong understanding of underground mining methods and production cycles
n
- Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership and building high-performing teams
n
- Excellent communication, planning, and decision‑making skills
n
- Confidence and competency in Microsoft Word and Excel
n
- WA Underground Statutory Supervisor’s Certificate, including Schedule 26 (S26)
n
- Valid manual C Class Driver’s Licence and WA Dangerous Goods Security Card
n
