Staff Specialist – Emergency Medicine
Permanent Full-Time | Regional Victoria
$262,000 – $360,000 p.a. + Salary Packaging + Relocation Support

We’re currently partnering with a vibrant regional health service in Victoria seeking a passionate Staff Specialist in Emergency Medicine to join their growing team.

The Emergency Department: n

The ED sees over 33,000 presentations annually and is open 24/7, providing care across all age groups. The unit is supported by a multidisciplinary team, including Emergency Physicians, highly trained nursing staff, and experienced support teams. The department is well-resourced, clinically progressive, and offers opportunities to influence the future direction of emergency care in the region.

About the Role: n

As a Staff Specialist in Emergency Medicine,



you’ll play a central role in delivering high-level clinical care, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to ongoing service improvement and safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver expert emergency care across a wide range of clinical presentations
n
- Lead and support junior doctors and nursing staff
n
- Foster cooperative relationships across departments for seamless patient care
n
- Engage in audits, education, and quality improvement activities
n
- Contribute to policy development and uphold clinical governance standards
n

Who We’re Looking For: n

n
- FACEM or equivalent specialist registration with AHPRA
n
- Demonstrated experience in a comparable emergency setting
n
- Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous improvement
n
- Leadership capabilities in a multidisciplinary environment
n
- Strong interest in teaching and mentorship
n
