nThis is an opportunity for a Senior Civil Designer to work within an internal project delivery team, contributing to large-scale mining and infrastructure developments. The role offers long-term project exposure, a collaborative environment, and involvement across the full design lifecycle.n

nAbout the role Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will be responsible for developing civil designs and 3D models for major mining and infrastructure projects. The role has a strong focus on road design, earthworks, drainage, utilities, and non-process infrastructure.n
nYou will work closely with engineers, designers, survey teams and project stakeholders to develop practical, high-quality design solutions while meeting project schedules and delivery requirements.n
nKey responsibilitiesn

- Develop civil design models and drawings for large-scale mining and infrastructure projects
n
- Produce design documentation including:n n
- General Arrangements
n
- Plan and Profiles
n
- Drainage layouts
n
- Pavement designs
n
- Utilities
n
- Swept path analysis
n

n
- Create and maintain 3D design models using industry-standard software
n
- Import, manage and process survey, LiDAR and geospatial datasets
n
- Develop mapping and spatial information to support design and approvals activities
n
- Coordinate with engineering disciplines to produce integrated design packages
n
- Manage drawing registers, revisions and document controls




n
- Participate in design reviews and project meetings
n
- Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian and project standards
n
- Support project delivery objectives relating to schedule, quality and budget
n

About you You will be a highly experienced Civil Designer with a strong background delivering mining, infrastructure or resources projects within a multidisciplinary environment.n
nYou'll bring:n
n

n
- 8+ years' experience in a Senior Civil Designer position
n
- Strong experience in civil infrastructure, earthworks, drainage and road design
n
- Advanced skills in 12d Model and Bentley MicroStation
n
- Experience processing and managing geospatial datasets
n
- Working knowledge of GIS software such as ArcGIS Pro or Global Mapper
n
- Experience producing construction and detailed design documentation
n
- Robust communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
- Ability to work effectively within fast-paced project environments
n
- Familiarity with BIM and 3D design environments
n
- Experience developing customisations or macros within 12d will be highly regarded
n
- Diploma of Civil Engineering or similar qualification preferred
n
