Sunshine Coast Radiology (SCR) is looking for enthusiastic and professional Medical Receptionists to join our growing teams across the Sunshine Coast.

About the Role n

We currently are looking for a full-time Medical Receptionist to join the team at our clinic at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital . Working a 9-day fortnight Monday to Friday. Shifts between 5.45am and 9.00pm with the flexibility to work the occasional weekend shift. Penalty rates apply for weekends for extra earning potential!

As a Medical Receptionist, you'll be an important part of the patient journey and the wider clinical team.

n

Your day will include:

n

- Welcoming patients and providing friendly, professional service
n
- Managing appointments, bookings and patient enquiries
n
- Answering phones and responding to patient queries
n
- Processing accounts, Medicare and private health claims
n
- Supporting Radiologists, Sonographers and Radiographers
n




- Maintaining accurate and confidential patient information
n
- Liaising with patients, referrers and medical practices
n
- Assisting with the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice
n
- Participating in team meetings, training and ongoing development
n

- Previous medical reception or healthcare experience is highly regarded, but we're also open to candidates with strong customer service and administration experience.
