The position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, providing excellent service, working outdoors, and staying active in a practical, fast-paced environment.

About you

n

Previous retail experience is essential

n

Previous experience working in a garden centre, nursery, or horticultural environment is highly desirable

n

A genuine interest in plants, gardening, and horticulture

n

Excellent customer service and communication skills

n

A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn

n

The ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team

n

Valuable physical fitness, with the ability to lift, move, water, and care for plants and pots

n

Robust attention to detail and pride in keeping the nursery clean, tidy, and visually appealing

n

Availability to work 4–5 days per week, with 8am–5pm shifts, including regular weekends
