We’re currently seeking experienced Estimators to join established construction businesses across a range of sectors. These opportunities offer the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects while playing a key role in securing and delivering successful construction outcomes.

Working closely with pre-construction, project management and delivery teams, you’ll be responsible for developing accurate and competitive estimates, assessing project opportunities and contributing to the overall success of tenders.

n

As a Construction Estimator, you’ll be involved throughout the tender and pre-construction process, from reviewing documentation and completing take-offs through to pricing, subcontractor engagement and tender submission.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates and tender submissions
n
- Review architectural drawings, specifications and project documentation
n
- Complete detailed quantity take-offs and cost analysis
n
- Obtain, assess and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations
n
- Conduct site inspections and identify construction requirements, risks and opportunities
n
- Develop detailed trade and project costings
n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, clients and consultants
n
- Identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities
n
- Maintain accurate estimating records and tender documentation
n




- Work closely with project and construction teams to ensure a smooth handover from tender to delivery
n
- Manage multiple tenders and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
n

About You n

We’re looking for a commercially minded construction professional with strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in delivering successful project outcomes.

n

You’ll ideally have:

n

n
- Previous experience as an Estimator, Quantity Surveyor or in a similar construction role
n
- Experience across commercial construction, fitout, refurbishment, industrial, residential or other relevant sectors
n
- Robust knowledge of construction methodologies, building trades and subcontractor pricing
n
- The ability to interpret drawings, specifications and project documentation
n
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
n
- Experience using estimating software such as CostX, Cubit or similar
n
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
n
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
n
- The ability to manage competing priorities and tender deadlines
n
- A collaborative and proactive approach
