Full-Time Position
n We are seeking an experienced and proactive Company Bookkeeper to take ownership of the day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration of a manufacturing business in the Redlands.
n This is a hands-on role working closely with management, employees, suppliers and customers to ensure financial processes are accurate, timely and well organised.
Key Responsibilities n
n
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
n
- Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up overdue payments
n
- Process supplier invoices, payments and reconciliations
n
- Manage purchase orders and purchasing administration
n
- Prepare information for BAS, GST and statutory reporting
n
- Complete bank and credit card reconciliations
n
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes
n
- Prepare regular financial and management reports
n
- Liaise with external accountants and advisers
n
- Identify discrepancies, errors and unusual transactions and bring them to management's attention
n
- Maintain accurate, confidential and compliant financial records
n
- Support financial administration across Multi site operations as required
n
About You n
You will be an experienced Bookkeeper or Commercial Accountant who takes ownership, works proactively and has a strong eye for detail.
Essential n
n
- Minimum 5 years' experience in bookkeeping or accounts
n
- Strong Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
n
- Sound knowledge of BAS/GST and general bookkeeping
n
- Experience with MYOB
n
- Robust Microsoft Excel skills
n
- Excellent organisation and time management
n
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
n
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
n
- High level of confidentiality, accuracy and integrity
n
Highly regarded nn
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, trade or similar industries
n
- Experience with purchasing and purchase order systems
n
- Experience managing accounts across multiple departments, branches or entities
n
- Experience working with external accountants and auditors
