Morgan Consulting Engineers (MCE) is a structural and civil engineering consultancy that has been operating in Brisbane since 1972.

With around 55 employees across multiple engineering disciplines, we’re an established business with a friendly, down-to-earth team and a busy project environment. We’re looking for a Drafter to join our team in a full-time, office-based role.

The Role n

This is a varied drafting role where you’ll work across a range of engineering projects and work closely with our engineers and broader Drafting team to produce accurate, coordinated project documentation.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Prepare accurate and coordinated drawings, models, details, schedules and project documentation.
n
- Use AutoCAD, Revit and other relevant drafting and document management systems.
n
- Work closely with engineers to ensure documentation accurately reflects approved engineering information.
n
- Manage your allocated work, priorities and deadlines across multiple projects.
n
- Complete thorough checks of your work before review or issue.
n
- Identify missing, unclear or conflicting information and raise questions early.
n
- Respond to review comments and maintain accurate file and document control.
n
- Work collaboratively with engineers, drafters and other team members to support effective project delivery.

About you nn
- Previous drafting experience or a relevant drafting qualification/training.
n




- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
n
- The ability to organise your workload, manage priorities and meet deadlines.
n
- Confidence asking questions and seeking clarification when information isn't clear.
n
- Positive communication and teamwork skills.
n
- A willingness to learn, take feedback and continue developing your technical skills.
