About the Role
n Tanuki Restaurant is seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead its front-of-house operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily service, managing staff, and ensuring a consistently high standard of customer experience.
Key Responsibilities

- Organise and control the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure efficiency and service quality;
n
- Lead, supervise, and train front-of-house staff, including rostering and performance management;
n
- Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained at all times;
n
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner;
n
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow;
n
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements,



and overall service coordination;
n
- Monitor operational costs, including labour and stock usage;
n
- Assist with ordering supplies and maintaining appropriate stock levels;
n
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations;
n
- Maintain the presentation and cleanliness of the venue in line with business standards;
n
- Contribute to improving operational procedures and overall business performance.

About You n

- At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar supervisory role;
n
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities;
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills;
n
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment;
n
- Robust organisational and problem-solving skills;
n
- Experience with POS systems and staff rostering;
n
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

- Position: Full-time, Permanent

- Salary: $85,000 – $90,000
