MP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician to join a well-established manufacturing operation in the Albury-Wodonga region.

This is a hands-on laboratory position working closely with production to ensure products and processes meet required quality standards. We are looking for someone who already has laboratory experience within a manufacturing environment and is comfortable working as part of a rotating shift roster.

About the role
n Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Conducting routine laboratory testing and analysis
n
- Sampling and testing materials and finished products
n
- Recording and maintaining accurate test results
n
- Monitoring quality standards and identifying non-conformances
n
- Completing laboratory documentation and data entry
n
- Maintaining laboratory equipment and a clean, organised work area
n
- Working closely with production and quality teams
n
- Following established quality, safety and hygiene procedures
n
n
To be considered, you will ideally have:
n
n
- Previous laboratory experience within a manufacturing workplace
n
- Experience with quality testing, sampling and laboratory procedures
n
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Confidence completing documentation and recording results
n
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
n
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
n
- Availability to work rotating day and afternoon shifts
n
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and quality
n
n
A qualification in Laboratory Techniques, Laboratory Technology, Food Science, Chemistry or a related discipline would be highly regarded.
