Here at Linear, we are growing and have a newly created role toa Finance Analyst to join our collaborative and supportive Finance team.
n We're looking for a commercially minded and analytical finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, solving problems, and turning data into meaningful business insights. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career finance professional who is looking to move beyond traditional reporting and develop their commercial acumen.

Working closely with operational leaders and the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting budgeting, forecasting, business performance analysis, reporting improvements, and strategic projects across the organisation.

Your Role in Our Future
n As our Finance Analyst, you will partner with operational and corporate stakeholders to provide financial insights that support decision-making and improve business performance.
n You'll be involved in a broad range of responsibilities including:

- Preparing and analysing budgets, forecasts and financial models.
n
- Delivering weekly and monthly financial performance reporting.
n
- Monitoring revenue, labour costs, utilisation and profitability trends.
n
- Supporting business cases and evaluating commercial opportunities.
n
- Providing practical financial advice to operational leaders.
n
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems and financial visibility.
n
- Supporting strategic projects and business improvement initiatives.
n
- Developing reporting tools, dashboards and analytics that enhance decision-making.
n

Your Experience
n You are an analytical thinker with robust attention to detail and a genuine interest in understanding how a business operates.
n You'll bring:

n

n




- A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
n
- CA or CPA qualification (or currently working towards completion).
n
- 1-3 years' experience in a finance, commercial analysis or business support role.
n
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
n
- The ability to translate complex financial information into clear and practical recommendations.
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering results.
n
