Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your role will be part of a small team located in the Ipswich Office working in close cooperation with the engineering, manufacturing and construction units. Aquatec Maxcon Pty Ltd is a leading provider of water, wastewater technology and equipment in Australia engaged in work throughout Australia providing solutions to clients.

Key responsibilities n

n
- Accurate and timely reporting of financial information in line with timelines, presentation guidelines and statutory requirements
n
- Ensure all balance sheet accounts are completed accurately and efficiently monthly
n
- Manage chart of accounts and ensure integrity of the GL
n
- Proactive management of relationships with all stakeholders
n
- Oversee the planning and management of annual stocktake of major asset classes in all locations – Inventory and Fixed Assets
n
- Ensure Tax compliance with all corporate and statutory requirements
n




- Work with operational stakeholders to help identify areas of cost reduction
n

About you nn
- Degree qualified, ideally a Bachelor in Accounting
n
- Ideally progressing to or holding CA/CPA qualification
n
- Several years of experience in a similar role
n
- Experience in a similar industry highly sought after
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- High level of experience in the use of Microsoft Excel
