Recognised as one of Australia’s leading private hospitals, St Vincent’s Private Hospital, Sydney is a tertiary level acute care medical, surgical and rehabilitation facility. The 310-bed hospital works with patients and their families to serve the community through excellence in care, teaching and research.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring and personable physiotherapists to provide evidenced based clinical services to inpatient and outpatients as part of our rotational roster.

n

Currently there is a full-time position (Tuesday to Saturday, non-negotiable) and the opportunity to join our casual pool.

n

Ideal candidates will be capable of working across all areas of the acute hospital including critical care wards however new graduates are welcome to apply for the full-time role.

Selection Criteria: n

n




- Tertiary qualifications in physiotherapy and registration with AHPRA required (new graduate and experienced physiotherapists encouraged to apply)
n
- Demonstrated experience in acute hospital physiotherapy
n
- Demonstrated ability to work within the multidisciplinary team
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills
n
- Skills and knowledge reflective of current evidence-based practice
n
- Demonstrated strong time management skills
n
- Strong computer literacy with electronic patient records, databases and Microsoft Office applications
n
- Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends, public holidays and after hours
n
- For full-time position: must be willing to undertake a rural rotation at St Vincent's Private Hospital Griffith.

A ‘workers’ Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the Office of the Children's Guardian.

n

Criminal record checks will be conducted and will form part of the selection criteria for this role
