The Opportunity n

Based in Sydney, you will manage rail infrastructure projects within a national pipeline of work. This position carries responsibility for delivery from initial planning through completion, bringing together people, budgets, contracts and operational requirements.

Your Responsibilities n

n
- Set the delivery approach and lead rail projects from contract award to successful completion.
n
- Control budgets and schedules, monitor commercial performance and manage risks affecting project objectives.
n
- Maintain productive relationships with clients, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
n
- Direct multidisciplinary teams, coach team members and build capability across the delivery group.
n
- Make sure project activities satisfy contractual obligations, quality standards, safety expectations and regulatory requirements.
n
- Provide clear progress reporting, contribute to strategic planning and improve delivery processes.
n





RequirementsSkills, Education And Requirements n

n
- A tertiary qualification in engineering, project management or a related discipline.
n
- A track record as a Project Manager delivering major rail or other infrastructure works.
n
- Strong commercial judgement, with experience overseeing budgets, contracts and client relationships.
n
- Evidence of leading multidisciplinary teams to complete projects safely, within budget and to agreed timeframes.
n
- Confident leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
- A proactive approach to solving problems and working collaboratively to achieve project outcomes.
