The Finance Systems Analyst - Business Improvement is responsible for optimising finance systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency and support business growth. Description

The successful individual will be responsible for, but not limited to:

n

- Analyse existing finance systems and identify areas for improvement to enhance performance and accuracy.
n
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system solutions.
n
- Integration of systems and processes
n
- Data extraction and manipulation (SQL)
n
- Implement and test system upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
n
- As hoc analysis and month end duties
n
- Training other individuals on training, best practice and processes.
n
- Provide training and support to finance team members on new systems and processes.
n




- Develop and maintain system documentation for future reference.
n
- Conduit between finance & IT teams to ensure seamless integration of finance systems with other platforms.
n
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance issues, resolving them promptly.
n
- Contribute to strategic projects aimed at improving overall financial processes.
n

Profile

n

A successful Finance Systems Analyst - Business Improvement should have:

n

- A strong understanding of finance systems and their application
n
- Experience dealing with multiple systems, data extraction, and systems integration projects
n
- A background in accounting (CA/CPA qualification)
n
- Proven experience in analysing and improving financial processes.
n
- Proficiency with relevant finance software and tools.
n
- Advanced excel, systems skills (SQL, Power Query)
n
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
n
- Experience working collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
