Brendale Tyre & Mechanical is looking for a qualified mechanic to work across private and business fleet vehicles. You'll handle everything from routine servicing to fault finding and mechanical repairs.
Key responsibilities n
n
- General servicing and vehicle inspections
n
- Brake, steering and suspension repairs
n
- Diagnostics using scan tools and component testing
n
- Cooling system, clutch and general mechanical repairs
n
- Tyre fitting and balancing
n
- Recording explicit job notes and reporting further work required
n
About you nn
- Qualified light vehicle mechanic with a current driver's licence
n
- Sound servicing and mechanical repair skills
n
- Confident with fault finding and diagnostic equipment
n
- Able to work independently and help the team
n
- Reliable, safety-conscious and respectful of customers' vehicles
n
- Proud of your workmanship and comfortable asking for a second opinion
n
n
$35–$45 per hour + super, based on experience and ability
n
Full-time, Monday to Friday, with no Saturday work required
n
A varied workload across private and fleet vehicles
n
Direct communication with the business owner
n
