Senior Payroll Officer | 6 Month Fixed Term Contract n

nAn established global manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to provide immediate operational support during a major payroll systems transformation.n
nThis role requires a payroll professional who can quickly take ownership of assigned payrolls and independently manage end-to-end payroll processing. You will play a key role in maintaining business-as-usual payroll operations while supporting a period of organisational change.n
Key Responsibilities n

n
- End-to-end processing of fortnightly and monthly payrolls
n
- Maintain payroll records and employee data
n
- Process new starters, terminations, salary increases and back pays
n
- Interpret awards, enterprise agreements and payroll legislation
n
- Manage leave, overtime and attendance related payroll activities
n
- Resolve payroll queries from employees and management
n
- Complete payroll reporting and statutory obligations
n
- Reconcile payroll related general ledger accounts
n




- Assist with month-end payroll activities
n
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and company policies
n

To be successful, you will bring: n

- Proven experience processing end-to-end payroll in medium to large organisations
n
- Strong hands-on experience using Preceda
n
- Experience working with time and attendance systems
n
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, taxation and superannuation
n
- Experience interpreting awards and enterprise agreements
n
- Ability to work autonomously and confidently manage payroll deadlines
n
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
n
- Experience within manufacturing or similar complex payroll environments
n
