Commercial & Business Lawyer – 2–3 Years PAE n

Aditum Lawyers is looking for a talented Commercial & Business Lawyer with approximately 2–3 years PAE to join our growing team.

n

This is a broad commercial role for a lawyer who wants exposure to a wide range of business matters, meaningful client responsibility and the opportunity to develop quickly in a growing commercial practice.

n

You will work across a diverse mix of advisory, transactional and dispute matters for businesses, directors, property owners and entrepreneurs.

The Role n

Your work will include matters such as:

n

- n

drafting and reviewing commercial contracts;

n
- n

shareholder and director disputes;

n
- n

business structuring and corporate advisory;

n
- n

commercial litigation and dispute resolution;

n
- n

debt recovery and insolvency-related matters;

n
- n

employment and workplace issues;

n
- n

property and leasing matters;

n
- n

business sales and acquisitions;

n
- n

construction and project-related disputes;

n
- n

intellectual property and commercialisation issues;

n
- n

partnership and joint venture arrangements;

n
- n

regulatory and compliance matters; and

n
- n

general commercial advice to business clients.

You will have the opportunity to work directly with clients, take increasing ownership of matters and develop strong commercial judgment rather than being limited to narrow task-based work.

About You n

We are looking for a lawyer with approximately 2–3 years post-admission experience who is commercially minded, ambitious and comfortable taking responsibility.

You will ideally have:

n

experience in commercial or business law;

n
- n

strong drafting and legal research skills;

n
- n

some exposure to commercial disputes or litigation;

n
- n

confidence communicating directly with clients;

n
- n

the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines;

n
- n

sound commercial judgment;

n
- n

robust attention to detail;

n
- n

a practical, solutions-focused approach; and

n
- n

a genuine desire to develop into a highly capable commercial lawyer.

Experience across multiple practice areas will be highly regarded.

n

We are particularly interested in lawyers who enjoy variety and want to understand the client's broader commercial problem rather than working within a very narrow legal specialty.
