As part of the evolution of the acclaimed a’Mare dining experience, we are seeking professional, polished, and guest-focused Restaurant Hosts to join both a’Mare and the newly opening Vista’Mare at Crown Sydney.

n

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on creating exceptional first impressions, enjoys engaging with guests, and understands the importance of seamless reservations and table management within a high-volume premium dining environment.

About the Role n

As a Restaurant Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a key role in delivering a warm, professional, and memorable arrival experience.

n

This is a casual position to commence , offering 30–40 hours per week , with the opportunity to transition into a full time role for the right candidate .

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Welcome and seat guests with professionalism and confidence
n
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow through SevenRooms (7R)
n
- Answer reservation enquiries via phone and email
n
- Present menus and offer guests their first beverage upon arrival
n
- Maintain communication with the floor and management teams regarding table availability
n
- Assist with clearing, resetting, and preparing tables for upcoming bookings
n
- Manage guest requests and special occasions with attention to detail
n
- Ensure reception and host areas remain organised and presentable
n




- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining venue standards
n

About You n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Previous experience as a Host, Receptionist, or Reservations Coordinator in a premium hospitality environment
n
- Strong knowledge of SevenRooms (7R) and reservations management
n
- Fluent spoken and written English
n
- Exceptional presentation and grooming standards
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask under pressure
n
- NSW RSA Certificate
n
- Full Australian working rights
n
- Ability to successfully complete Crown Sydney Police and Compliance Checks
n
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
n
