Description:

n

Lighthouse Church Port Pirie is seeking a passionate, committed and gifted Children's and Families Co-Ordinator to provide leadership, vision and practical oversight of ministry among children, and families.
n The purpose of this role is to develop a healthy, welcoming, relational and outward-looking ministry centred on Jesus Christ, grounded in Scripture and integrated into the wider life of the church.

n





The Co-Ordinator will provide strategic leadership while remaining actively involved in practical ministry, building relationships with children, parents, carers and volunteers and developing sustainable ministry teams.
n A major responsibility will be to establish, develop and lead Kids Club as significant community-facing ministries.

This will include:

- Developing the vision, purpose, format and timetable of each ministry in consultation with church leadership.
n
- Creating secure, welcoming and engaging environments for children and families.
n
- Planning appropriate activities and programs.
n
- Building genuine and respectful relationships with parents and carers.
n
- Promoting the ministries throughout the Port Pirie community.
