Chandler Macleod is recruiting on behalf of our client for Strategic Communications Officers to support a high-profile national program delivering long-term strategic outcomes for Australia.n
nThis is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a complex and evolving policy setting, working alongside government stakeholders, industry partners and senior decision-makers to support strategic communication initiatives, stakeholder engagement activities and policy outcomes.n
nAbout the Role As a Strategic Communications Officer, you will play a key role in supporting communication strategies, stakeholder engagement activities and the development of high-quality written products that inform decision-making and public messaging.n
nKey responsibilities include:n
n

- Developing communication materials, briefs, reports and correspondence.
n
- Supporting strategic engagement activities across government, industry and community stakeholders.
n
- Contributing to ministerial submissions, briefing packs and executive communications.
n
- Conducting research and analysis to support policy and communication outcomes.
n
- Assisting with stakeholder engagement and consultation activities.
n




- Supporting senior leaders in the preparation for domestic and international engagements.
n
- Monitoring emerging issues and providing strategic communication advice.
n

Key Criteria To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:n

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
n
- Experience developing briefs, reports, communications or policy documents.
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management abilities.
n
- Sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities.
n
- Strong analytical and research skills.
n
- Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
n
- Experience supporting strategic projects, communications or policy initiatives within government or related environments will be highly regarded.
