We are seeking Reliable, Enthusiastic, Motivated and Professional Disability Support Workers inthe South Brisbane area.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will play an important part in assisting people to achieve their goals as specified in their NDIS plan.

As a Disability Support Worker and respected ambassador of McArthur you will be required to assist people with: nn




- Household tasks - household cleaning and laundry
n
- Skill development - shopping, cooking, catching public transport
n
- Transport - transport to appointments and/or shopping
n
- Social & Community participation - engage in the community, meet people.
n

Applicants must have: nn
- Right to work in Australia
n
- Relevant Industry experience
n
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability Cert IV or equivalent
n
- Current Working with children blue card and NDIS workers screening check
n
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
n
- Current Manual Handling Certificate and Medication Certificate
n
- Valid Driver's License, reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
n

Training credentials in Complex Care, for example - Bowel Care, Peg Feeding, Dementia and Mental Health would be highly regarded.
