Delaware North Australia is hiring a casual Kitchenhand to join our team at Adelaide Airport. This role combines the responsibilities of both a Sandwich Hand and a Kitchenhand, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and enjoys variety in their day-to-day tasks.

You'll be crafting an array of fresh sandwiches while also supporting broader kitchen operations - ensuring cleanliness, order, and efficiency in the back of house.

What you will do? nn
- Maintain consistent cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
n
- Conduct temperature and quality checks, effectively managing cross-contamination to ensure WHS compliance, displaying a strong commitment to meeting Food Safety standards
n
- Support kitchen team members in establishing and sustaining an organised and efficient workspace
n
- Take on hands-on cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors,



washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, waste disposal and management, operating a commercial dishwasher, and handling cleaning chemicals
n
- Execute food preparation tasks within a commercial kitchen workplace, showcasing excellent food presentation skills
n

More about you nn
- Previous experience in a sandwich hand or kitchenhand
n
- Food Safety Certificate
n
- Passion and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment
n
- Ability to work a 7 day rotating roster
n
