East Coast Diesel Service is a well-established Contract Maintenance and Labour Hire company. We're seeking 20 skilled Diesel Fitters for long-term FTE (Full Time Equivalent) 7/7 roster positions across our Bowen Basin sites, in both Workshop and Field roles.
THE ROLES & RATES: Field Fitters – Excavator / Drill / Dragline n
In-pit breakdowns, servicing and maintenance on excavators, drills and draglines
n
Employees: up to $90/hr flat rate + Super & Black Coal LSL + Ute + Travel
n
Subcontractors: up to $109/hr + Ute Allowance + Travel
Ute allowance (own mine-spec compliant ute, when required): n
Employees: up to $120/shift
n
Subcontractors: up to $130/shift
n
5+ years' experience on Hitachi Excavators , drills or draglines required
n
Component change-outs, rebuilds, servicing and breakdown repairs on heavy mobile equipment
n
Employees: from $74/hr flat rate + Super & Black Coal LSL + Ute + Travel
n
Subcontractors: from $90/hr + Ute Allowance + Travel
Ute allowance (own mine-spec compliant ute, when required): n
Employees: up to $120/shift
n
Subcontractors: up to $130/shift
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: n
Proven experience in the mining or heavy equipment industry, with a strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics and mechanical systems
n
Coal Board Medical (desirable)
n
Willing to undergo pre-employment drug & alcohol screening
n
Positive attitude and motivated worker
n
Solid problem-solving skills with attention to detail
n
Enthusiastic and ready to showcase your BEST!
