Talent International is partnering with a major Federal Government organisation to recruit an experienced Systems Tester to support the delivery of complex technology projects.

n

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong hands‑on automation testing experience to work across modern cloud technologies, system integrations and enterprise applications.

Systems Tester | Federal Government | Wollongong Key Responsibilities n

n
- Develop and execute test strategies, test plans and automation frameworks.
n
- Perform end‑to‑end system, integration, regression, API and database testing.
n
- Design and implement automated tests using C#, Java and modern automation tools.
n
- Test AWS cloud environments, data migrations and event‑driven integrations.
n
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
n
- Manage defects, test environments, reporting and release readiness.
n
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts and stakeholders within Agile Scrum teams.
n
- Mentor junior and intermediate testers to improve automation capabilities.
n

About You n





To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Minimum 5 years' experience in systems testing, with a strong focus on automation.
n
- Strong hands‑on automation experience using C# and Java.
n
- Demonstrated experience testing AWS environments, including DMS/CDC and Kinesis.
n
- Experience with Selenium, Playwright, JMeter, Postman and Swagger.
n
- Strong SQL skills for data validation, reconciliation and defect investigation.
n
- Experience testing APIs, data migrations and event‑driven architectures.
n
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and Git‑based workflows.
n
- Robust understanding of Agile Scrum delivery methodologies.
n
- Experience leading testing activities and mentoring less experienced testers.
n
