ROUSSOS Recruitment is partnering with a highly regarded national commercial contractor with an established presence in South Australia and a robust pipeline of upcoming projects.

n

With a reputation for delivering quality commercial projects and a strong focus on people, safety and project outcomes, the business is continuing to grow its Adelaide operations.

n

They are now seeking an experienced Site Manager to take ownership of site delivery across a diverse portfolio of projects valued between $10M-$15M, spanning both new build and fit out/refurbishment.

n

You will join an experienced project team and have the support, systems and resources required to deliver projects successfully, while having genuine ownership of site operations and day-to-day delivery.

The Role n

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of your project from site establishment through to completion and handover.

n

Working closely with the Project Manager and broader project team, you will oversee site operations, coordinate subcontractors and trades, and ensure programme, safety and quality targets are achieved.

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Taking ownership of day-to-day site operations
n




- Coordinating subcontractors, trades and suppliers
n
- Driving construction programmes and project milestones
n
- Managing site logistics, sequencing and coordination of works
n
- Leading site meetings and coordinating daily construction activities
n
- Maintaining high standards across WHS, quality and compliance
n
- Monitoring progress and proactively resolving site issues
n
- Managing inspections, defects and project close-out
n
- Working closely with Project Managers, Contract Administrators, consultants and clients
n
- Building strong relationships with subcontractors and project stakeholders
n

You will ideally bring:

- Proven Site Management experience within commercial construction
n
- Experience delivering projects valued around $10M-$15M
n
- Experience across new build and fit out/refurbishment projects
n
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, programming and site coordination
n
- Confidence managing subcontractors, trades and site activities
n
- Sound knowledge of WHS, quality and compliance requirements
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
n
- A genuine commitment to delivering a high-quality project
n
- Trade background in carpentry or a related discipline will be highly regarded
n
