Dental Receptionist - High Street Dental n

Part-Time

$33–$38 per hour + super, depending on experience

High Street Dental Practice is looking for an experienced, friendly and reliable Dental Receptionist to join our team in Kangaroo Flat.

n

This is primarily a front-desk reception position . We are looking for someone who enjoys interacting with patients, is confident on the phone, can manage a busy appointment book and is comfortable taking responsibility for the smooth running of reception.

n

As we are a small dental team, the role will also involve assisting with sterilisation and instrument processing when required.

Your responsibilities will include:

Welcoming patients and managing the front desk

Answering telephone enquiries confidently and professionally

n
- n

Booking and managing patient appointments

n
- n

Processing payments

n
- n

Managing recalls and following up patients

n
- n

Communicating with patients regarding appointments and treatment

n
- n

Keeping the reception area organised and running smoothly

n
- n

Assisting with sterilisation and instrument processing when required

n

About you n

A minimum of 1 year of front-desk reception experience in a healthcare or professional setting is required.

Previous dental reception experience is highly regarded.

n

Experience with Dental4Windows or another dental practice management system would also be an advantage, but is not essential.

n

Training in our practice systems and sterilisation procedures can be provided.

Hours n

Approximately 25–30 hours per week , with the potential for additional hours for the right person.

Availability requirement: Applicants must be available to work across our operating hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm . Hours will be rostered within this window.

n

This role is not suitable for school-hours-only availability .
