Process Worker / Window & Door Fabricator - Townsville n

Whether you already have experience in manufacturing, aluminium fabrication or a similar trade, or you're looking to learn a new skill, we’ll provide you with the training and support you need to become part of the Bradnam's team.

n

You’ll play an important role in manufacturing and assembling the products that go into homes and businesses across North Queensland.

About the Role n

As a Process Worker / Fabricator, you’ll be involved in the manufacture and assembly of a range of Bradnam's products, including:

n

- Windows and doors
n
- Security screens
n
- Shower screens
n
- Wardrobe doors
n

n

You’ll work across different stages of our manufacturing process, using hand and power tools, machinery and your practical skills to help produce quality products for our customers.

n

Previous manufacturing or trade experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right person.

n

This is a hands-on role involving regular manual handling and lifting, so a strong commitment to safe manual handling practices is essential.

Day Shift Hours n

Monday: 6:30am - 3:00pm
n Tuesday - Friday: 6:30am - 2:30pm

n

38 hours per week | Full-time | Permanent

What will you be doing? n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Cutting and machining product components
n
- Manufacturing and assembling Bradnam's windows, doors and other products
n
- Operating hand tools, power tools and relevant machinery
n
- Unloading and handling raw materials
n
- Assisting with customer deliveries when required
n
- Communicating professionally with customers and other team members
n
- Following safe work practices and using all required PPE
n
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
n
- Following established processes, procedures and quality standards
n

About You n

We’re looking for people who are reliable, practical and keen to be part of a team.

n

You’ll ideally have:

n

n
- Previous experience in aluminium fabrication, manufacturing, construction or a similar industry (advantageous, but not essential)
n
- The ability and confidence to safely use hand and power tools
n
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
- Good written and verbal communication skills
n
- The ability to follow instructions, processes and procedures
n




- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
n
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
n
- A practical, hands-on approach to your work
n
