Genus Environmental is looking for experienced EWP Arborists and Climbing Arborists to join our vegetation management team in Perth.

We're looking for arborists with experience in either EWP operations or climbing – you do not need experience in both.

n

About The Role n

Working within dedicated vegetation management crews, you'll undertake tree pruning, removal and vegetation clearance across urban environments.

n

Depending on your experience, you'll work as either an EWP Arborist or Climbing Arborist, alongside ground crew, other arborists and supervisors to safely deliver high-quality vegetation management services.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Undertake tree pruning, removal and vegetation clearance.
n
- Operate an EWP or undertake climbing and aerial tree work, depending on your experience.
n
- Complete pre-start and equipment inspections.
n
- Work in accordance with safety procedures and work instructions.
n
- Work collaboratively with ground crew, arborists and supervisors.
n
- Identify and report hazards.
n




- Maintain equipment and vehicles to company standards.
n
- Deliver high-quality work while maintaining productivity and safety.
n

About You You'll ideally have: nn
- Demonstrated experience as an EWP Arborist or Climbing Arborist.
n
- Certificate III in Arboriculture, or currently working towards it, highly regarded.
n
- Relevant EWP High Risk Work Licence for EWP Arborist applicants.
n
- Relevant climbing experience for Climbing Arborist applicants.
n
- Current White Card.
n
- Current Driver's Licence, with an HR Licence advantageous.
n
- Experience working around utilities or electrical infrastructure highly regarded.
n
- Robust safety focus.
n
- Reliable work ethic and positive attitude.
n
- Ability to work outdoors and travel when required.
n
