About the role n
n

You will work closely with our dentists and clinical team to help keep the surgery running smoothly and provide an excellent experience for our patients.

n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

n

- n

Chairside assisting

n
- n

Preparing surgeries for treatment

n
- n

Sterilisation and infection control

n
- n

Instrument processing

n
- n

Surgery changeovers between patients

n
- n

Assisting with fillings, crowns, bridges, endodontics and extractions

n
- n

Assisting with cosmetic and restorative procedures

n
- n

Intraoral scanning and digital workflows

n
- n

Maintaining stock and keeping surgeries organised

n
- n





Supporting nervous or anxious patients

n
- n

Helping the wider team and reception when required

n

Who we're looking for n
n

You don't need to know everything on day one, but you do need to be someone who is reliable, organised and willing to take initiative .

n

You will ideally have:

n

Previous dental assisting experience

n
- n

Strong communication and patient care skills

n
- n

Good understanding of infection control

n
- n

A professional and friendly manner

n
- n

Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment

n
- n

Good attention to detail

n
- n

A positive, team-focused attitude

n
- n

Confidence working without needing constant direction

n

n

A Certificate III in Dental Assisting is desirable but not essential for an experienced candidate.

n

Experience with intraoral scanners, digital dentistry or dental practice management software is an advantage.
