Just Automotive Recruitment is searching for an experienced Body Builder (Trailers) to join a skilled workshop team in Minto, NSW. This hands-on role involves repairing, rebuilding and fabricating trailer components while working across a variety of trailer types and transport equipment.

nDuties n
n

n
n
- Perform trailer body repairs, rebuilds and structural fabrication work on a wide range of trailer types.
n
n
- Carry out MIG welding on predominantly steel components, including chassis, uprights and corner posts.
n
n
- Repair and replace trailer components such as curtain truck sections, crash bars, toolboxes, underrun protection systems and nose cones.
n
n




- Complete basic electrical repairs and maintenance, including lighting systems.
n
n
- Maintain accurate job documentation and ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
n
n

nSkills and experience n
n

n
n
- Trade qualification as a Body Builder, Panel Beater or similar heavy vehicle trade.
n
n
- Post-apprenticeship experience in trailer, heavy vehicle or transport equipment repairs.
n
n
- Strong MIG welding and steel fabrication skills.
n
n
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a small team environment.
n
n
- Pride in workmanship with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage job paperwork effectively.
n
