$45/hr + Super | 38 Hours Per Week | Long-Term Temporary Opportunity We're seeking a Stores & Inventory Controller to join a busy industrial operation in a long-term temporary position. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with robust SAP experience, a current forklift licence, and a passion for inventory accuracy, process improvement, and maintaining high operational standards.

This role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to play a key role supporting maintenance, production, and site operations.

About the Role n

As the Stores & Inventory Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day stores operations while ensuring accurate inventory management, SAP processing, reporting, and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities n

- Receive and issue engineering spares, consumables, and chemicals through SAP
n
- Operate a forklift for loading, unloading, and stock movements
n
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders and work orders
n
- Pick and allocate materials for maintenance and production requirements
n
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
n
- Complete weekly and month-end inventory and chemical reporting
n
- Maintain accurate stock records and master data
n
- Support equipment refurbishment processes through SAP
n




- Ensure compliance with site safety, contractor, and stores procedures
n
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and stores efficiency
n
- Liaise with production, maintenance, suppliers, and finance teams
n

What We're Looking For Essential Requirements nn
- Previous stores, warehouse, inventory, or materials management experience
n
- Demonstrated SAP experience
n
- Strong administration and reporting skills
n
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
n
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
n

Highly Regarded nn
- Experience within manufacturing, industrial, engineering, mining, chemical, or production environments
n
- Experience handling engineering spares and maintenance stores
n
- Inventory control and stock investigation experience
n
- Continuous improvement mindset
n
- Current Forklift Licence (LF)
n
